"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ" Gal 6.2

Life brings seasons of joy, but also moments of hardship, loss, and uncertainty. At Point Community Church, we believe that caring for one another is a vital expression of God’s love. Whether you are navigating a personal crisis, facing emotional challenges, or simply in need of practical support, we are here for you.

Our Care & Support ministry exists to walk alongside individuals and families with compassion, prayer, and practical help—because everyone matters, and no one is meant to journey alone.

How We Support You

         Specific Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer. Whether you are seeking healing, guidance, comfort, or breakthrough, our prayer team is honored to lift up your specific needs before God. Submit a prayer request confidentially or request someone to pray with you personally.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16

         Emotional Support & Encouragement

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, or simply need someone to talk to, our trained volunteers and ministry leaders offer a safe and supportive space to be heard, encouraged, and reminded of God’s presence in your life.

        Crisis Care

In moments of crisis—loss of a loved one, serious illness, job loss, or a major life transition—we’re committed to walking with you. Our crisis care team provides comfort, pastoral care, and spiritual support during life’s most difficult moments.

        Practical Help

Sometimes help looks like a warm meal or a ride to an appointment. Our Care Team is mobilized to provide:

  • Meal deliveries for individuals or families in times of need

  • Transportation assistance to church, medical appointments, or essential errands

  • Light household support when recovery or circumstances make things difficult

Let us know how we can serve you practically during your time of need.

       Counseling Referrals

We recognize that some situations require professional guidance. PCC partners with trusted Christian counselors in our area and can provide referrals for:

  • Individual counseling

  • Marriage and family therapy

  • Grief and trauma support
We’ll walk with you every step of the way, ensuring you get the care you need.

        Meal Support & Food Assistance

Whether you are recovering from surgery, welcoming a new child, or experiencing financial hardship, we’re here to help. Our volunteers can:

  • Prepare or deliver meals to your home

  • Connect you with short-term food assistance

  • Organize a meal train through your small group or community network

        Visitation Ministry

Our care doesn’t stop at the church doors. If you or a loved one is in the hospital, recovering at home, or living in a care facility, we can arrange a visit to pray, encourage, and bring comfort. You're not forgotten—we want you to feel seen and surrounded, wherever you are.

        Other Needs

Life’s challenges aren’t always predictable. If you’re facing a situation that doesn’t fit into a category above, we still want to hear from you. Let us know what you're going through, and we’ll do our best to support you or connect you with the right resources.

Let Us Care for You

If you or someone you know needs care and support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Every request is handled with compassion, discretion, and love.

You are not alone. We're here, we're listening, and we care.
