Point Generation, affectionately known as PointGen, is an integral and dynamic part of the life and mission of Point Community Church. Created with children and youth in mind, PointGen is designed to deepen our connection to Christ and one another while actively shaping the next generation of leaders.

Our mission is to connect children and youth with Jesus, engage them in community, and encourage them to take active roles in leadership and service. We believe that our young people are not the church of tomorrow—they are a vital part of the church today, serving in our community and helping us live out the mission of the gospel.

PointGen meets regularly each Sunday, with age-appropriate activities designed to foster spiritual growth, while also providing opportunities for leadership development. Through both teaching and participation in local service, our youth become a living example of what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.

Our Age Groups and Ministry Goals

We offer ministry opportunities for all ages, from birth to college students:

•       Toddlers & Preschoolers

•        Elementary Students

•        Middle & High School Students

•        College Students

Our mission is to expand our ministry to ensure that we consistently provide quality care and engaging opportunities for each child, ensuring they feel seen, loved, and equipped to grow in their faith.

Our vision for PointGen is ambitious, and we are seeking committed, passionate individuals to help us grow and serve this next generation. Whether you have a heart for teaching or assisting, or if you are interested in working with our students in leadership development or service activities, we have a place for you!

We are looking for volunteers to fill the following roles:

Current Needs:

• 4 Lead & 4 Assistant Teachers – TODDLER/PRE-K
  (Serve 1x per month; all lessons & materials provided)

• 4 Lead & 4 Assistant Teachers – ELEMENTARY
  (Serve 1x per month; all lessons & materials provided)

• 4 Leaders to Develop Middle & High School Programs

• 4 Leaders to Help Develop & Staff an Infant Nursery

• Substitute Teachers for All Age Groups

• Special Event Coordinators
  (Assist with organizing and leading events that engage the entire church community)

How You Can Get Involved:

• Pray for Point Gen and the families that it serves.

• Volunteer your time and talents to help lead and develop children and youth programs.

• Serve at special events or assist with one-time needs like camp or retreat activities.

• Support financially or through donations of supplies and materials.
